Valerio Alfonso Bruno is Fellow at the Centre for the Analysis of the Radical Right (CARR) and cultore della materia at the Catholic University of Milan, member of the CEF (Center for European Future) and MAFTI (Mapping the Far-Right Truth Industry). Bruno is a specialist on the Italian far-right and has recently contributed to the Routledge handbooks of Far-Right Extremism in Europe and Non-Violent Extremism, and to multi-countries reports as Western Extremists and the Russian Invasion of Ukraine in 2022 (Counter Extremism Project), Symbols & Slogans of the Radical Right Online: Italy, Germany, France (ACS) and the State of Hate: Far Right Extremism in Europe 2021 (Hope Not Hate/Amadeu Stiftung). His online analyses have appeared, among others, on Al Jazeera, The Independent, openDemocracy, Social Europe.
