Scholarships

Education and training are known to be among the most effective tools for achieving gender equality in the context of social and working life. Intesa Sanpaolo therefore wants to support training courses and, in particular, this project, because it is consistent with its approach to social responsibility with respect to the issues of study orientation, inclusion, gender equality and equal opportunities.

Disbursement of 4 scholarships - for a total value of € 12,000 - to be distributed as follows:

  • 2 scholarships of €3,000 each for female students enrolled in the Graduate degree programme in Actuarial Sciences, Risk and Data Analysis (Milan Campus)
  • 2 scholarships of € 3,000 each for female students enrolled in the Graduate degree programme in Applied data science for banking and finance (Brescia Campus).

The Calls for Scholarships will be published.

 

Training for the development of women's leadership

Talk at the University or remotely (webinar) held by Intesa Sanpaolo managers on biases and stereotypes that can affect the development of female leadership and the role of companies in breaking them down.

Focus on Intesa Sanpaolo's experience (strategy, policy, quantitative and qualitative actions) and openness to debate.

Proposal addressed to female students of Graduate degree programmes.

Training for gender equality

Talk at the University or remotely (webinar) held by ISP managers on gender equality from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights to the 2030 Agenda, passing through PDR certification. Focus on Intesa Sanpaolo's experience (strategy, policy, quantitative and qualitative actions) and openness to debate.

Proposal addressed to students of Graduate degree programmes.

Project work

Business Case in Area Corporate & Investment Banking

The selected students will have the opportunity to experiment with a project built ad hoc related to a business case in the Corporate & Investment Banking area.

The objective of the case is to present your recommendations on the group bond funding plan to be executed on the institutional markets for the year 2024 to the Treasury of Intesa Sanpaolo.  The material, in slide format, must include at least:

  • a brief macroeconomic update and in particular on interest rate expectations
  • an Update on Debt Capital Markets for Financial Institutions
  • a hypothesis on the Group's institutional funding needs for 2024
  • a proposal of instruments to be issued, including recommendations on timing, format, pricing and the related reasons that led you to formulate your proposal.

Female Graduate degree students. Participants will be awarded 1 supernumerary ECTS.

Job shadowing

Shadowing in Imi Cib

The selected students will have the opportunity to work alongside the specialists of the IMI CIB Division, following the manager and his team during their daily activities, in an interactive and relational way.

The Shadowing day includes the following moments:

  • Meeting with the Manager of the Host Facility;
  • Coaching team members;
  • Moment of debrief with the Facility Manager, with respect to the day carried out.

The desks that will host the students are:

  • The Retail & Luxury Industry of the Global Corporate Function
  • The Strategic Marketing & ESG Initiatives Structure.

Proposal addressed to female students with Graduate degrees in Banking and Finance, Economics of Markets and Financial Intermediaries, Actuarial Sciences, Risk and Data Analysis and Applied Data Science for Banking and Finance. Participants will be awarded 1 supernumerary ECTS.

The activity will take place in May, the date will be announced later. To participate, you must register online – by April 22, 2024. Intesa Sanpaolo will select the participants and communicate how to participate.
