Federica Missaglia is Full Professor of German Language and Linguistics at the Catholic University in Milan. In 1999 she earned her PhD in Communication and History Sciences from the Technical University in Berlin. Her areas of interest and academic research focus on German Linguistics, specifically on oral communication and public speaking, phonetics and phonology, multilingualism, language learning and education. Since 2005 she is Director of the Master Course in German for International Business Communication in Milan.
