Nicoletta Vittadini is Associate Professor of Sociology of Culture and Communication at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. She teaches Communication and Digital Marketing and Sociology of Communication and Digital Media. Her research area is digital communication since the 1990s. She has been studying computer mediated and social communication since 2002 when she edited one of the first italian special issues on this topic entitled Dialoghi in rete.
Her last book is Social Media Studies. I social media alla soglia della maturità: storia teorie e temi, FrancoAngeli. She’s the Director of the Master in Digital Communications Specialist (in partnership with the association UNA-Aziende della Comunicazione Unite) and she's the Vice-Director of the School fo Journalism of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
