KPMG – Deal Advisory
The Business Game in Corporate Finance is KPMG's Talent Attraction initiative that will allow students to discuss how to solve a case study on Corporate Finance issues. The daily challenges of the Corporate Finance (CF) Team will be addressed with a range of tasks related to Extraordinary Finance transactions: the adoption of a strategy for the client, a simulation of the M&A process and the business valuation activity.
It will also be an opportunity to learn about the path of KPMG Professionals and receive advice on how to pursue a successful career within the Corporate Finance Team. The Talent Attraction Team, in addition to presenting the KPMG Network, will illustrate the career path that young talents will be able to access and how to enter this line of service. The KPMG Corporate Finance practice within Deal Advisory is consistently positioned at the top of international and national rankings as an advisor to M&A transactions, providing integrated and independent support in Mergers & Acquisition, Valuation and Debt Financing activities.
Program:
· Illustration of the main activities carried out by the Corporate Finance Team.
· Launch of the simulation scenario: dynamics, logics and main tools useful for implementing a strategy and the subsequent modeling of an M&A transaction and company valuation. The students, divided into groups, will challenge each other through problem-solving and team working tasks, analyzing data and implementing suitable and effective decisions for the resolution of the case.
· Debrief in which each working group will present its results. Finally, there will be a moment of follow-up and networking.
Participation in the Business Game is reserved for 30 brilliant students of the master's degrees of the Faculty of Economics who have gained knowledge and skills - and with a strong interest - in the economic-financial disciplines.
