Teaching Methodology

The programme provides for the continuous updating of the basic methodological contents with the topics that derive from the process of adapting production, managerial, reporting, financial management, economic and legal analysis practices to the continuous innovations taking place on the sustainability front from an ESG perspective.

A teaching approach will be proposed that combines solid basic knowledge with the ability to discuss business cases, solve managerial problems and produce solutions through experiences of group work, discussions and comparisons with the corporate world. A direct and fruitful relationship between students and professors/lecturers will be generated, aimed at implementing advanced and modern teaching practices based on interaction.

The experiences of comparison will be strengthened by the presence of meetings with managers, consultants and experts who will make a laboratory approach to teaching possible.

The fruitful and dynamic immersion in the most current and critical issues in the world of sustainability will also be guaranteed by constant discussion and targeted collaborations with the RES.m HUB (Research Centre for Responsibility, Ethics and Sustainability in Management) operating in the Piacenza campus on cutting-edge issues in the field of sustainable management.

Supplementary teaching services

A particularly innovative feature in the proposal of supplementary teaching services is the MyMentor! project, which allows each student to interact individually during a semester with a mentor (manager, consultant or entrepreneur), willing to guide him/her in understanding the dynamics of the world of work and in planning the first steps of the professional path.

The Orientamentee path accompanies the participants in the project in the acquisition of a greater awareness of their professional aptitudes and inclinations, up to the creation of an autonomous assessment of their skills.

To facilitate a successful entry into the world of work, the General Management programme offers, in addition to MyMentor!, also the opportunity for individual students to have an individual interview with an ICF (International Coach Federation) accredited Mentor Coach aimed at providing guidance and support in identifying professional goals and building a personalized path to achieve them.
