Study path
As for the study path, it is structured in such a way as to develop solid bases of competence in the area of business management and in the quantitative area, in particular through training activities related to the economic-business and mathematical-statistical fields.
The legal area complements and strengthens the preparation, through the study of complex problems of corporate governance, financing, tax law, commercial and labour law, the discipline of company crisis and business contracts.
Extensive use is made of interactive teaching methods, combining traditional lectures with the use of the following active teaching tools: exercises, case discussions, analysis of current issues, seminars, meetings with entrepreneurs, managers and representatives of the world of professions in the economic area, both national and international, simulations of professional assignments of varying complexity, company check-ups. Training internships are also provided in companies, studios and professional societies, public and private bodies and institutions, both national and international.
The use of teaching aids and online platforms is envisaged for the enrichment of classroom lessons, student support, exchange and in-depth study of the material covered by the lessons/seminars.
The duration of the graduate degree is two years after the three-year undergraduate programme.
Each exam is awarded a certain number of credits, the same for all students and a grade (expressed in thirtieths) that varies according to the level of preparation.
To obtain the graduate degree, at least 120 university credits (ECTS) must be acquired.
The courses end with an evaluation test, which must in any case be expressed by means of a mark out of thirty. This may also apply to other supplementary forms of teaching for which suitability may also be required.
The study plan provides for the acquisition of:
- 34 ECTS of disciplines in the business area
- 12 ECTS of disciplines in the area of economics
- 6 ECTS of disciplines in the quantitative area
- 12 ECTS of legal disciplines
- 16 ECTS of interdisciplinary disciplines
After passing the final degree exam, the student obtains the graduate degree in Economics and Business Law.
