The programme aims to provide a critical awareness of the dynamics that arise from the intersection between the four main areas ("regulatory and institutional field", "economic-financial disciplines", "linguistic disciplines and cultural competences" and "institutional communication and argumentative strategies in context"), integrating them in a new and constructive way. Through an adequate knowledge of the relations between the European institutions and financial intermediaries as well as contextually appropriate argumentative procedures, it is possible to propose new processes and procedures, capable of taking into account the intercultural contexts, the disparities of common ground, the different level of specialisation of stakeholders in dealing with financial issues, for example in institutional communication addressed to the citizens of the Union European.
The main areas of professional employment are: institutional communication and relations with third parties and the market at European institutions or large private companies; support to the activities of institutional investors (proxy advisors and investor engagement); management and control functions in public or private organisations in the banking and financial sectors.
