In relation to the specific objectives of the graduate degree programme, internships at financial institutions may be envisaged as well as study stays at other Italian and foreign universities, also within the framework of international agreements. With reference to the degree programme, it is structured in such a way as to allow the student to develop in the first part solid and in-depth skills in the field of regulatory economics, the measurement of financial phenomena, the pricing of financial instruments, including complex ones, the discipline of intermediaries and their governance. In the second part of the degree programme, the student learns topics of management of financial intermediaries, risk management, investment management, law of listed companies, ethics of finance. In order to pursue the objectives of the degree programme, students train in the areas of management of financial intermediaries or the economics of financial intermediation. The degree programme will provide a strong presence of business and management disciplines, an appropriate proposition of economic and quantitative disciplines and a suitable proposal of legal disciplines. Teaching is carried out in the traditional frontal mode, using the presentation of business cases, through meetings with experts from the financial world and through simulations with the help of information and telematic technologies.

CREDITS

The normal duration of the graduate degree programme is an additional two years after graduation. To obtain the graduate degree, students must have acquired at least 120 credits (ECTS), including those relating to the final examination. Each course is assigned a number of ECTS, the same for all students, and a grade (expressed out of 30) that varies according to the level of preparation. The courses conclude with an evaluation test expressed by means of a mark out of 30. The time reserved for personal study or other individual training activities constitutes about two-thirds of the total hourly commitment.
