Management for the Enterprise - Andrea Signori

Systematic observation and research affirm that companies that achieve excellent results are those that are able to activate effective learning processes more quickly, to understand the characteristics of the different contexts in which they operate, to create new organizational solutions through continuous processes of change. The skills required by companies today from graduates are increasingly connected to the work context, a context that has become multidimensional, defined not only in the specific content of the responsibilities attributed to the job position and the activities performed, but also in corporate strategies, in the organization of tasks, in management choices, in the corporate culture and in the characteristics of the business.

Objectives

The Graduate Degree Programme in Management for the Enterprise, which belongs to class LM-77 - Economics and Business Sciences, aims to provide students with an in-depth advanced level of training in the management of companies, both profit and non-profit, private and public, operating in Italy and at an international level.
Specific training objectives include the development of the following competences, knowledge and skills:

  • advanced knowledge on the new and emerging problems of business management of complex organizations, characterized by intense dynamics, both competitive and organizational change, as well as strategic re-orientation and on the related possibilities of solutions that favor an integrated vision of these problems;
  • ability to manage interpersonal relationships, both with superiors and with colleagues and subordinates, such as to bring the student closer to the inter- and intra-organizational dynamics that characterize almost all companies or other private and public organizations, regardless of size and structure, increasingly favoring an international, intercultural and difference perspective in general;
  • methodological skills closely linked to both corporate socio-organizational and governance variables, the latter referring specifically to the possibility of holding - in perspective - positions of responsibility in the administration and governance of private and public companies; in particular, the behavioural variables that allow and/or facilitate a rapid and effective introduction into the world of work are taken care of;
  • professional and cultural knowledge, appropriately balanced both in functional and procedural logic, enabling them to carry out activities as experts and consultants as well as entrepreneurs and managers in the industrial and service sectors, both public and private.
  • Typically professional skills, important to provide the student with a useful preparation to access the qualifying exams for registration in the register and in general for the performance of the profession of chartered accountant, business/corporate consultant and expert in accounting/administrative control of companies.
