What's new for the 2025-26 academic year

The graduate degree programme in Management of Services changes its name to Management, companies and markets, reshaping its educational offer, relying on the academic and teaching resources of the Faculty of Economics alone. For more details, click here.

Starting from the academic year 2025-2026, the Faculty has decided to give autonomy to the Healthcare Management profile (LM-77), already offered in English in collaboration with the "A. Gemelli" Faculty of Medicine and Surgery. The programme, delivered in English, also benefits from the support of an international faculty that works alongside the professors of the two Faculties on the Rome campus. The programme in a nutshell

The degree programme in Management of Services offers in-depth training aimed at developing professional skills related to functional responsibilities of an administrative, managerial, financial and work organization nature present within institutions and companies operating in the service sector. One of the three profiles of the programme (entirely taught in English) offers specific training with reference to health services, an important sector in the tertiary sector, thanks to the integration of the knowledge present in the Faculty of Economics and Medicine and Surgery "A. Gemelli".

 

Objectives

The following competencies and skills are specific educational objectives of the degree programme, which belongs to the class of Economics and Business Sciences (LM-77):

Advanced knowledge on the new problems of business management in the  service sector, characterized by intense competitive dynamics and strategic re-orientation, and on the solutions that privilege an integrated vision of these problems; This advanced knowledge is specifically declined in one of the profiles with reference to organizations related to the broader health sector

 

Ability to manage interpersonal relationships both with superiors and with colleagues and subordinates, such as to bring the student as close as possible to the inter- and intra-organizational dynamics that characterize companies and other private and public organizations, regardless of size and structure, always favoring an international, intercultural and difference perspective in general

Advanced methodological skills closely linked to both corporate socio-organizational and governance variables, the latter referring specifically to the possibility of holding - in perspective - positions of responsibility in the administration and governance of private and public companies within the service sector; in particular, the behavioural variables that allow and/or facilitate a rapid and effective introduction into the world of work are taken care of;

Professional and cultural knowledge, appropriately balanced both in functional and procedural logic, enabling them to carry out activities as experts and consultants as well as entrepreneurs and managers in the service sector.
