1. What is an Internship

The internship is a compulsory teaching activity closely linked to the courses and workshops. It aims at the acquisition and development of specific professional skills, through the direct and reflective participation of the student in concrete educational and training work situations. In particular, it aims to develop skills in the field of pedagogical design, management and training of human resources, coordination of services and work groups.

Office hours: tutors receive by appointment on Fridays at the times agreed by email.
Location: Master's degree internship tutor office (via Garzetta, 4th floor north wing).

3. Internship Specific Details

  • Duration: the internship is to be considered as a unitary and progressive path that develops in the first and second year of the programme for a total of 200 hours, of which 140 as a direct internship in an institution and 60 as an indirect internship at the university.
  • Compulsory: the internship is compulsory.
  • N° ECTS assigned to the internship: I year 3 ECTS ; II YEAR 5 ECTS 
  • How to assign ECTS and indications for the final report:
    Attendance is compulsory and can be "approved" if the student:
    - attended the scheduled hours;
    - has obtained a positive evaluation from the university's internship tutor;
    - delivered and positively discussed the final internship report (the outline will be given to each student by the internship tutor).
  • The identification of the institution is carried out by the internship tutor on the basis of evaluations shared with the student in an individual interview.

The curricular internship takes place during the university programme with the acquisition of ECTS while the extracurricular one is aimed at recent graduates.
