Career opportunities

The training offered by the various courses aims to provide the essential tools both for the continuation of scientific research in the philosophical field, and for accessing, in accordance with the provisions of current legal provisions, the subsequent levels of training aimed at obtaining the qualification for secondary teaching. Moreover, it also intends to respond to professionalizing purposes, relating to professional areas in which specific disciplinary skills are required combined with critical skills and skills in the representation of knowledge and in the planning of decision-making processes. Relevant sectors include: publishing and scientific and philosophical communication, cultural promotion, library and museum management, and the press; In addition, graduates are able to manage training courses for public or private bodies, take care of high-level public relations, participate, as an expert, in centers and committees on bioethics, public ethics and health, political and financial analysis.
The skills and competences acquired also allow to manage complex situations in professional areas concerning personnel management, the organization and communication of research, the conception and implementation of national and European projects in which there is a strong component of ethical and anthropological issues. Critical skills, argumentative and expository skills, and knowledge of cultural and scientific dynamics allow graduates to compete for positions of responsibility in national and international organizations.
