Career opportunities

The programme allows students to acquire or implement professional skills necessary for work in welfare services in various capacities (with particular reference to services for minors and families and the development of community projects).

  • the specialist social worker who, by passing the State examination, can access section A of the Professional Register of Social Workers;
  • the social worker who promotes and guides help processes, as well as implements design functions at the level of case work, group work and community work;
  • the team coordinator, manager or head of service who, assuming management and middle-management functions, leads public or private social welfare organizations.

The graduate  degree programme LM-87 allows access to the state exam for section A of the Register of the Professional Order of Social Workers with the qualification of Specialist Social Worker. The programme also allows students from other undergraduate degrees, interested in deepening the basic skills to work as social workers, to evaluate the curriculum of studies to access the undergraduate degree programme in "Sciences for Social Work" in order to obtain the undergraduate degree for the subsequent professional qualification of social worker through a state exam for section B of the Professional Register.
