Graduates in Sustainable and Precision Agriculture carry out management, planning, management, control and training activities relating to plant and animal production.

The sectors of the world of work interested in the inclusion of the graduate degree in Agricultural Science and Technology are the freelance profession after having taken the State exams to access section A of the Register of Agronomists and Foresters, agricultural and livestock production, industry at the service of agriculture and those of product processing, public administration (Ministries, Regional Departments, Trade Associations, Phytosanitary Services, national and international governmental and non-governmental bodies in the agri-food sector) and public bodies, through insolvency procedures, and private entities that carry out research activities in the agri-food sector. Graduates will be able to access secondary education if they have sufficient credits in appropriate groups of sectors and will be able, as provided for by current legislation, to participate in the admission tests for training courses.

For graduates with a profile in Sustainable and Precision Agriculture , the most specific professional opportunities are in production, processing and marketing companies in the agri-food sector; in seed, agrochemical, biotechnological, nursery and biorefinery companies; in insurance companies operating in the agricultural field to defend against adversities, pests and pathogens; in public and private service companies that provide technical assistance and consultancy for sustainable agriculture systems; in public and private laboratories that carry out diagnostic analyses on soils, water and agricultural products.

For graduates with a profile in Sustainable and Precision Animal Husbandry , the most specific employment opportunities are in production, processing (dairies and dairy industries) and marketing companies in the agro-livestock sector; in companies for livestock services and breed associations; in insurance companies operating in the livestock sector; in public and private service companies that provide technical assistance and consultancy for the livestock sector; in public and private laboratories that carry out diagnostic analyses and on the quality of production.

For the graduate degree with a profile in Sustainable Viticulture and Oenology , the most specific employment opportunities are in companies with tasks of vineyard design and management, also including the delicate issues related to phytosanitary defense; in cellars with the task of managing and orienting winemaking techniques to achieve wines of the desired quality; in the wine-making supply chain to take care of aspects related to product presentation and marketing; always within the same supply chain, to introduce high-level technological solutions (e.g. precision viticulture techniques or application of decision support systems) or to orient the company towards solutions that can reconcile economic and environmental sustainability; trade unions and/or trade unions with technical assistance to winegrowers and/or "policy making" functions; in laboratories and service companies for analytical activities and technical support for activities related to controls under the DOC and DOCG regime.
