Nursing (qualification for the healthcare profession of Nurse)

From 27 May until 11:59 p.m. on 26 August 2024 (deadline) it is possible to register (online only) and pay the participation fee (€ 120.00).

The payment of the participation fee by the deadline of 26 August 2024 constitutes the completion of the registration for the test. Without registration it is not possible to take the test.

The admission test will take place remotely on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 September 2024 at 2:30 pm.  

Each candidate during the registration phase selects the session he/she intends to attend, subject to availability of places.

When enrolling, each candidate must indicate 2 degree programmes among all those offered in the 2024/25 academic year (see table below), specifying the order of preference (first choice and second choice), with the exception of the degree programmes active at the Claudiana campus in Bolzano, for which it is necessary to consult the website https://www.claudiana.bz.it/it).

The degree programmes chosen and the order of preference can be changed no later than 26 August 2024 using the "edit competition registration" function in your enrolment profile.

Preferences and the order assigned are binding in the drawing up of merit rankings, therefore it is recommended to carefully read art. 9 of the competition notice.

The rankings will be drawn up taking into consideration as a matter of priority:

• the choices and the order of preference expressed by each candidate (first and second choice)
• the score achieved

Each ranking list will therefore be composed first of all of the candidates who have indicated the degree programme as their "first choice" ordered on the basis of merit, and then of those who have indicated the programme as their "second choice" ordered on the basis of merit.

Each candidate will therefore be usefully placed in the ranking for both degree programmes chosen: if he/she is "admitted" to the degree programme indicated as "first choice", his/her position in the ranking of the degree programme indicated as "second choice" will be cancelled. On the contrary, if he/she is "admitted" to the programme indicated as "second choice", he/she will retain his/her position in the ranking in the programme indicated as "first choice" based on his/her score and may be called upon to enrol in the event of subsequent selection.

The admission test is delivered REMOTELY (via an online web testing platform with a remote control system).

It is essential to have:

• a PC (Windows 8 or later operating system, or LINUX) or MAC (MAC OS 10.14 or later) workstation equipped with a working webcam and microphone;
• a well-lit room in which no one other than the candidate is present
• GOOGLE CHROME browser (min. version 81.0) to be used as the only browser provided;
• stable internet connection with minimum upload and download speed of 1.5 Mbps;
• a smartphone or tablet (Android min 4.1 – IOs min v.8) equipped with a webcam to film the environment and the location where the test takes place.

(please note: The tablet can ONLY be used as a replacement for the Smartphone, not for the PC/Mac).

In the days leading up to the test, each candidate will receive by e-mail instructions for the check requirement to be carried out within 24 hours before the test.

At the end of the check requirement, a second e-mail is sent containing the link to access the exam with confirmation of date and time.

It is necessary to carefully check that you meet all the technical requirements indicated in art. 8 of the competition notice.

In the event of technical problems with the required equipment, the candidate will be held responsible for any problems that may occur during the admission test.

The test consists of 60 multiple-choice questions distributed as follows:

• 30 logical and logical-mathematical reasoning questions
• 20 questions of scientific nature: Chemistry (10 questions), Biology (10 questions) on the basis of the ministerial programmes ofor secondary school (referred to in Annex "A" of this call)
• 5 general knowledge questions
• 5 questions of ethical-religious culture

A maximum score of 60 points is awarded for the evaluation of the test according to the following criteria:

• 1 point for each correct answer
• minus 0.25 for each incorrect answer
• 0 points for each answer not given

At the end of the test, the candidate must answer an additional 7 questions in 7 minutes (the so-called "reserve questions"), one for each subject, automatically assigned by the platform.

• "Reserve" questions do not count towards the final score;
• They will be used only in the event that an anomaly emerges in one or more questions of the test that leads to its cancellation, replacing only the one relating to the same subject.

The test lasts 60 minutes (plus an additional 7 minutes for the "reserve questions").

With the payment of the participation fee for the admission test, the candidate can access the online simulation platform made available by the University free of charge and unlimitedly.
