Programme Structure

The programme combines the study of linguistic sciences with the educational and research experiences and the teaching resources of the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences, making use of mutual tools and skills for a better understanding of the complex reality of international relations, relations between States, international bodies, supranational and non-state actors in both a synchronic and diachronic perspective.

ECTS

To obtain the undergraduate degree, 180 credits (ECTS) are required, which are acquired to the extent of about 60 each year with evaluation tests both for the courses and for other supplementary forms of teaching. Each exam is awarded a given number of ECTS, the same for all students, and a grade (expressed out of 30) that varies according to the level of preparation. The final mark is out of 110. The Undergraduate Degree Programme in Linguistic Sciences for International Relations does not include curricula.

The languages offered in the degree programme are:

The study plan includes: two three-year language cycles, a cycle of two/three exams in linguistic sciences and an organic cycle of six/nine specific exams, responding to the demands for linguistic/professional services widespread in society and aimed at developing specific professionalism.
