The undergraduate degree programme in Management for Sustainability is dedicated to the development of the sustainability professional, a new figure who, thanks to multidisciplinary knowledge, lends his/her professionalism to companies, public administrations and non-profit organisations, declining his/her skills on multiple business functions, for example: production, purchasing, distribution and marketing, personnel management and training, environmental management, budget, financial reports, institutional relations.

The presence of an on-site internship and placement office helps to facilitate integration into the world of work.

 

A new professional to support sustainability

The multidisciplinary training received makes the graduate in Management for Sustainability able to interact with the various subjects involved in the implementation of initiatives dedicated to the theme of sustainability and to fit effectively into the dynamics of innovation and collaboration activated by companies, public administrations and third sector organisations.

More specifically, graduates in Management for Sustainability develop skills useful for the following business functions:

  • Analysis and management of environmental resources and systems and the territory;
  • Development and management of integrated measurement and reporting systems for company performance;
  • Design and implementation of interventions aimed at improving environmental and social impacts;
  • Verification of compliance with environmental and health protection regulations;
  • Support in obtaining and managing quality, environmental and social certifications;
  • Integral employee training and development;
  • Design and implementation of initiatives for the transition to an increasingly zero-impact efficiency model;
  • Planning and implementation of activities oriented towards sustainable development;
  • Design and certification of environmental management systems;
  • Support for the dissemination of an environmental culture through education and dissemination activities.
