The curriculum in Mathematics aims to train people who combine excellent mathematical preparation with  physical and computer skills and are able to understand and use mathematical descriptions and models in concrete situations of scientific and applicative interest, effectively using, in addition to Italian, the English language, in written and oral form. The curriculum, in addition to training future teachers and lecturers, prepares professionals capable of solving problems and bringing innovation, to successfully enter the job market. Contrary to what is commonly thought, to study mathematics you don't need to be a genius, you just need to have a lot of passion: the mathematician is an interested, curious person who, when faced with any problem, has the method and mindset to find innovative solutions.
