Laboratories I year

The laboratories are an essential part of the educational offer of the degree course in "Media Languages". They aim to provide user skills. Those intended for students enrolled in the first year of the course are preparatory and introduce the forms and languages of the main means of communication, provide the basic techniques for analyzing the different types of texts and propose practical exercises in the conception and writing of the most common species of cultural products.

The lecturers of the laboratories are professionals who work in the various sectors of media communication. Each workshop lasts 16 hours. Class attendance is mandatory for at least 75% of the course.

Registration will open on 3 October and close at 11.59 pm on 14 October 2024. Applications will be accepted until all available places for each course are exhausted (25); In the event that there are no more vacancies for the chosen laboratory, you can enrol in one of the courses that still offer free places.

Students from another programme or faculty and those in debt of examination who cannot use the online system will register by contacting Prof. Paola Pontani (paola.pontani@unicatt.it) by 14 October 2024.

Please note that the workshops are associated with the course of Theory and Techniques of Media Communication. Therefore, the student will not be able to take this exam if he has not first obtained the approval of the laboratory attended.
