The programme in a nutshell

Professionalism and human sensitivity: a figure at the service of others

Choosing this path means wanting to acquire and develop, in addition to technical and scientific skills, strong interpersonal skills and a strong ability to work in a team.

The programmes are organised in facilities located throughout the country: the partnerships activated with hospitals, health authorities and institutes allow the degree programme to be carried out in different locations before the final qualifying examination for the profession.

Teaching methodology

Direct experiences are the real added value of these programmes: in addition to lectures, from the first year students are involved in practical training activities and clinical internships (with professional tutors).

And then?

The nursing profession requires knowledge of a biomedical and hygienic-preventive nature combined with relational and educational skills. After obtaining the undergraduate degree, it is possible to continue one's training with the graduate degree programme in Nursing and Midwifery Sciences.

Presentation of the programme

Being a nurse requires technical, relational and educational skills. For this reason, the undergraduate degree porgramme in Nursing is based on knowledge of different and complementary areas: biomedical and preventive hygiene disciplines, which allow you to learn the most relevant elements underlying general physiological and pathological processes, as well as humanities disciplines, which help to understand oneself, one's profession and the relationship with the assisted person. The degree programme is largely focused on learning the profession in a comprehensive way. In fact, there are many internship experiences during which it is possible to experience, with supervision, a gradual assumption of autonomy and responsibility. Once you have obtained your undergraduate degree in Nursing, you can continue your education with a graduate degree programme in Nursing and Midwifery Sciences.
