- an old-school degree in Medicine and Surgery with enrolment in the Dentists' Register or with an endorsement for Dentistry.

In the case of degree awarded abroad  the qualification with the grade obtained must be accompanied by the Statement of Comparability by the Cimea Service.  The Master’s Degree obtained must be a level 7 degree in the European Qualification Framework.

Please note that the cimea service will be closed from the 29th of July 2023 to the 3rd of September 2023. The service will re-start on the 4th of September 2023. Please note that the days of closure will not be counted as part of the time guaranteed for release of statements.

Note

In the case of foreign students: the qualification with the grade obtained must be accompanied by an official translation in Italian, legalised and accompanied by a "declaration of value" issued by the competent Italian Embassy or Consulate abroad.
In the case of students from non-European countries, the qualification will be submitted to the judgement of the Second Level Specialising Master Programme Board for the purposes of equivalence aimed exclusively at the university master's degree.
Possession of a licence to practise as a dentist in Italy or recognition of the qualification by the Ministry of Health is only required in the case of professionalising activities; for face-to-face activities it is not a prerequisite.

The number of students admitted to the University Master's Course is set at a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 20.

To be admitted to the University Master's Course, candidates must submit their CVs and pass a test consisting of multiple-choice quizzes.
Candidates are required to have attended the courses organised by ALD, BAIRD, LA&HA, IAID and/or the advanced training course entitled "Advanced Proficiency Diode Laser" or of an equivalent level, at their respective sites, whose scientific programmes are considered preparatory to the The Second Level Specialising Master Programme course in question.
