  • Evaluation, assessment and diagnosis in clinical and psychosocial settings;
  • Design of clinical and psychosocial interventions in individual, couple, family and community contexts with a view to promoting health and relationships;
  • Consultancy, expertise, supervision, training, prevention, protection and rehabilitation activities.

The graduate degree allows students to acquire various skills including: ability to formulate evaluations autonomously and critically on the basis of observational or instrumental data, ability to communicate effectively with people, couples, families and communities, ability to continuously update one's knowledge, autonomously learning the most recent developments in scientific research at national and international level in relation to the reference disciplines, with particular attention to design and intervention, also using the appropriate IT tools, knowledge of professional ethics.

The professional opportunities are of various kinds and can be identified in the following areas:

  • Family counselling centres and centres for families
  • Local health authorities and hospitals
  • Psychological service cooperatives
  • Family and community mediation services
  • Freelance activity related to clinical-psychological interventions
  • Third sector associations
  • Family communities
  • Public and private institutions for the protection of the family

In addition,  graduates can access the profession of Psychotherapist upon qualification obtained through enrolment and passing training courses provided by psychotherapy schools and by the university schools of specialization in the psychology area, including the School of Specialization in Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology active in our University, the School of Specialization  in Neuropsychology and the School of Specialization in Life Cycle Psychology active in our University.
