What is an internship?

The internship is an experience aimed at students who intend to carry out a period of professional training, experimenting "in the field" with their knowledge and acquiring new skills. The internship can be carried out, also in consideration of the profile attended, at leading commercial, industrial, banking or advanced tertiary companies, as well as at organisations, structures and institutions, public and private, operating in the field of tourism management and enhancement of the cultural, artistic and social components of the territory.

Project Work

Since the 2021-22 academic year, the possibility of carrying out a work activity (project internship) consistent and qualifying with respect to the graduate degree programme has been introduced on an experimental basis, which consists of carrying out an internship period in the company combined with the development of a Project Work agreed between the Faculty and the company and governed by a specific regulation.

The Project work, carried out during the 200-hour internship, is agreed between the student, the professor/lecturer of the reference area, the company contact person and the tutor, for the purely administrative part. If the Project work is positively evaluated, 4 ECTS are recognized, in addition to the 8 ECTS required by the internship.
