Project work

The students of the third year of the DAMS for arts programme end their careers, before the final individual exam, with a collective project work, which brings together all profiles and skills in a multimedia event, coordinated by Ermanno Nardi, professor of Live Audiovisual Direction and Multimedia - but with the collaboration, from time to time, of several other colleagues.

The 2024 collective project work produced a solo exhibition by the artist Giulio Locatelli, "Giulio Locatelli. TRAME", and an event with video installations and performances built in dialogue with his works, "Life!".

The 3D trailer

The exhibition "Giulio Locatelli. TRAME" (30 May – 9 June 2024, MoCa, center for new cultures in Brescia) was curated by the Laboratorio L'evento d'arte, led by Daniele Perra, with the students of the 2nd year of the Arts, Media And Performance Studies programme. The exhibition was created with works by the artist and a work, the Magic Carpet, that Giulio Locatelli created with the students of the 1st year of the DAMS for arts programme, in the Workshop of Contemporary Art History: Mestieri dell'arte, coordinated by Mariacristina Maccarinelli. The work also exists in Virtual Reality, in the trailer made by Nicola Possi.

The "Life" event took place on May 29th, attended by all the students of the 3rd year of the programme of all DAMS for arts profiles under the guidance of teachers Marzia Morteo, Mariarita Simone, Ermanno Nardi and Enrico Ranzanici. Watch the highlights and imagine the show!

Highlights

In May and June 2023 we closed our second project work, which was connected to the themes (Art Nouveau culture in Brescia) of the previous year. A solo exhibition by the artist Camilla Marinoni was organized by the dedicated laboratories, and opened with a multimedia event – LY – with video installations and performances. Here are some "behind the scenes" images of the exhibition and event!

In June 2022, the first final project work of the renovated DAMS for arts was created, an event dedicated to Art Nouveau culture in Brescia and linked to an exhibition of photographs taken in the dedicated Laboratory, led by Bob Tyson, and curated by the L'evento d'arte Laboratory, directed by Daniele Perra.

We propose here, even if only in Youtube format, the beautiful images created by the DAMS for arts videomakers, coordinated by Enrico Ranzanici, for the video installations that illuminated the night of the MoCa and the performances of Come fiori nel cemento.
