The preparation that is acquired with this degree programme is articulated in theoretical knowledge and practical and professionalizing skills to allow graduates to manage communication processes in their various forms - from face-to-face interpersonal communication to the complex systems of mediated communication - and in different areas, such as goods and services companies, creative, media and cultural industries, and public and third sector institutions.
In fact, the route takes place on three levels:

• courses, which allow students to acquire the theoretical and methodological contents and foundations of the disciplines related to communication and its processes;
• workshops, through which experience is gained in the field in the analysis and production of communication strategies, in the conception and design of communication campaigns (advertising, political, public...), in the basic production of media products of different formats and with different purposes;
• the scheduled interventions of professionals, experts and teachers (both Italian and foreign), who offer the student direct contact with the world of communication, foreshadowing a future, positive job placement.

From the academic year 2020/2021 COMeS is enriched with a new curriculum entirely proposed in English: Communication management. Fashion, food and material cultures COMMA

ECTS

To obtain the three-year degree, 180 university credits (ECTS) are required, which are acquired to the extent of about 60 each year with evaluation tests both for the courses and for other supplementary forms of teaching. Each exam is awarded a certain number of credits, the same for all students, and a grade (expressed in thirtieths) that varies according to the level of preparation. The mark awarded in the final examination is expressed in one hundred and tenths.
