Additional Educational Obligations (OFA)
In accordance with the Regulations of the study programmes, additional educational obligations (OFA) are assigned in the subjects specified therein to students who, although having obtained a score sufficient for enrolment, have not answered correctly at least 50% of the questions related to each of the subjects in question, as administered in the admission tests.
The Degree Programme Councils organise, also through distance learning, intensive and remedial courses reserved for students assigned OFA, aimed at enabling them to make up for initial deficiencies and benefit fully from the course lessons.
The OFA are considered fulfilled when the student has successfully passed the test, the modalities of which are communicated after the start of the academic year.
In accordance with Article 6, paragraph 1, of Ministerial Decree No. 270/2004, the OFA must necessarily be fulfilled within the first year of the programme. Students who have not remedied their educational deficit within the first year of the programme, in the manner described in the previous paragraph, cannot take the exams required for the second year of the programme.
Any OFA are communicated to students at the time of publication of the merit rankings.
