The programme in a nutshell

Learning to teach, teaching how to learn

This integrated five-year degree programme aims to prepare the teachers of the future.
For this reason, the study plan includes two levels of teaching: providing the knowledge and disciplinary contents that will be conveyed in the school environment ("what" to teach) and indicating to students the relationship and approach to be taken with students ("how" to teach).

Teaching methodology

In addition to a solid theoretical preparation, the programme also includes workshop activities of didactic design and simulation. The internship experience to be carried out in schools starts from the second year, and proceeds up to the fifth for a total of 600 hours in total.

And then? The school from a new point of view

A degree in Primary Teacher Education qualifies students to teach in kindergarten and primary school. Up-to-date training allows you to competently manage both relational dynamics in a highly complex context such as the current one and the new technologies that have landed in the classroom.

Presentation

The integrated five-year degree programme in Primary Teacher Education qualifies for teaching: that is, it allows, once a degree has been obtained, inclusion in the Institute rankings and participation in ordinary competitions for kindergartens and primary schools. It is a demanding path structured on a very solid base of knowledge, which is essentially divided into two areas: the field of professional knowledge, socio-psycho-pedagogical disciplines and relationship and communication skills; the field of disciplinary contents - Italian language, foreign language, mathematics, history, geography - essential in the training of a future teacher. The teachers trained in this way are those who are increasingly needed in today's school: passionate, competent and capable of designing a coherent educational and didactic path, able to manage relational dynamics in a context, such as the current one, with growing social complexity and to use new technologies in a conscious and effective way.
