The Sustainable and Precision Agriculture profile

The Sustainable and Precision Agriculture profile is a training course aimed at sustainability in agriculture with a strongly interdisciplinary approach to address modern issues aimed at precision agriculture and attentive to climate change.

It explores the following aspects:

  • agro-ecology, plant physiology and genomics in relation to climate change;
  • modelling, sensors and automation applied to herbaceous and arboreal crops and crop protection;
  • the sustainability of the use of agro-chemicals and the economic sustainability of agricultural enterprises.

The profile also offers teaching on organic farming and non-food supply chains.
