The programme in a nutshell

Become more familiar with financial phenomena

The programme is developed with an approach that combines the economic area (business and politics) with the study of the fundamentals of law and statistical sciences. Starting from the second year, it is possible to choose between two profiles: "Financial markets and institutions" and "Quantitative methods for finance and insurance".

A curriculum in Finance is also available, see here, entirely delivered in English.

Teaching methodology

The programme is developed through lectures, but also meetings with experts from the financial world, simulations with the help of information and telecommunication technologies, the study of the English language and of a second foreign language. It is an innovative method of preparation and evaluation that also includes case discussions, projects and problem set solutions, role playing experiences.

And then? The beginning of a journey in the world of finance

Through their first internship experiences, graduates will be able to enter the national and international financial community with awareness. They will also have multiple professional possibilities: financial or insurance advisors, managers at banking institutions, financial analysts, financial advisors in a law firm.

Overview

Choosing this degree programme means undertaking a training programme at the forefront of those in the field of economics and business management.

On a solid basis of skills in business economics, political economy, quantitative methods, and legal preparation, developments and in-depth studies concerning both financial phenomena in general and the management of financial intermediaries (banks, insurance companies, other intermediaries) are grafted. The structure of the degree programme allows you to create, already during your studies, a very close relationship with the world of work: there are numerous opportunities to meet and share opinions with leading exponents belonging to the world of supervisory authorities, banks, insurance companies.

Internship and placement experiences then allow - once graduated - to have the skills and awareness to profitably enter the national and international financial community.

School-World of Work Board

The School has established the School-World of Work Board to strengthen the bond with companies and supervisory authorities. Composed of authoritative protagonists of the national financial community (CEOs and HR Directors), the Board aims to:

  • share with economic operators the strategic guidelines to be followed in the formulation of the teaching plans of the Degree Programmes, in order to maintain an offer in line with the expectations of the professional world;
  • improve the planning and management of the internship activities of the School;
  • identify new initiatives and fruitful ways of collaborating with the operational reality, to allow the constant improvement of the training process and the most favourable ways for students to enter the world of work.
