Career opportunities

Graduates in Banking, Finance and Insurance Sciences have several possibilities to choose from among the professions of finance both at national and international level:

  • managers of financial institutions (banks, insurance companies and other financial intermediaries) in the roles of risk manager, asset manager, compliance and audit;
  • financial consultant;
  • insurance and pension consultant;
  • actuary;
  • financial analyst;
  • financial advisors in law firms;
  • analyst and researcher in supervisory and market authorities.

International Partnerships

Students enrolled in the undergraduate degree programme in Financial markets and institutions (general profile and Finance curriculum) have the opportunity to access a profile reserved for double degrees:

  •  Undergraduate degree in Financial Markets and Institutions (Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore) and BSc in Banking and Finance (Bangor Business School, UK). More information can be found at the following link https://goabroad.unicatt.it/goabroad-DD_Bangor.html .

Since the academic year 2018/2019, the School of Banking, Finance and Insurance Sciences has entered into an agreement with the Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of Milan,  aimed at guaranteeing training for access to the profession of accounting expert with exemption from  the first test of the state exam. For this reason, the School  has prepared a "profile in agreement". The study plan also provides  or a compulsory internship of  9 ECTS, valid as a six-months internship and useful for access to the State exam.
