Curriculum in Mathematics

A graduate in Mathematics, thanks to the knowledge and method acquired during the degree programme, can relatively easily enter the job market: this profile is in fact expendable in very wide fields.

In particular, a degree in mathematics gives the opportunity to enter:

  • in the industrial sector, as a researcher or market analyst;
  • within financial and insurance companies, as a systems engineer, analyst, operator in the field of applied modeling;
  • in training courses dedicated to teacher training for middle and high schools;
  • within universities and national and international research institutes.

Curriculum in Physics

The degree in Mathematics with a curriculum in Physics, with its acquisition of experimental skills, is closely connected to the job market, especially for all sectors that deal with high-level technological development. A graduate in this curriculum will have the opportunity to enter the job market in areas such as:

  • electronics, optics, computer science, mechanics, etc.;
  • telecommunications and control of satellite systems;
  • quantitative finance;
  • modelling of physical processes and industrial applications;
  • environment.

You can also choose to follow the path of research at an international or national level, both in universities and at the most qualified institutions, or choose the path of teaching, becoming a teacher, or even a school director of middle or high schools.

In particular, this curriculum gives the opportunity to work in various sectors with different roles:

  • in the IT sector, as a developer of complex applications and Internet/Cloud services
  • in the tertiary sector, as a researcher, systems engineer and analyst of scientific, financial and commercial data
  • in the field of Data Science, as an analyst specialised in the extraction of knowledge from large volumes of data (Big Data) 
  • within universities and national and international research institutes.
