Workshops

PREMISE
The workshops are a sort of "hinge" for students that allows them to weld theory (teachings) to practice (internships). Starting from the second year of the programme, there will be 5 workshops (3 in the second year and 2 in the third), namely: Management of educational relationships, Educational planning, Observation and educational evaluation, Education in reading picture books and sensory books, Analysis of typical and atypical development. Each workshop is aimed at developing skills specific to the educational and training profession, is led by experts and is carried out in groups.

1. STRUCTURE OF ACTIVITIES
The total number of hours of each workshop is equal to 25 (1 ECTS): 20 of them are carried out in the classroom and the remaining 5 are dedicated to the development of a work mandate, individual or group, which takes the form of a final output submitted for approval by the conductor.
The classroom methodologies include the simulation of activities specific to the reference work areas, design activities, construction of tools, case analysis, role play, etc. The workshop group coincides with the internship group. The workshops take place on Fridays and Saturdays; The calendar is communicated at the beginning of each semester and attendance is mandatory. No student registration is required.

2. ASSESSMENT METHODS
Each workshop can be approved if the student:

  • attended the scheduled hours;*
  • delivered the expected final product, obtaining a positive evaluation from the Conductor;**

* Absence from a single meeting will be tolerated, motivated by serious reasons that must be communicated to the Workshop Conductor and the Coordinator.
** In the event that the product is not adequate, the tenant may request revisions or additions.

Each completed workshop must be recorded (on a deferred basis) by the Coordinator of Didactic-Integrative Activities. There are 5 sessions available before the graduation sessions
