Degree Classes
L-19 (Education and training)

The programme has a single curriculum, which can be customized by the student.

In fact, depending on one's aptitudes and interests, it is possible to orient one's course of study in relation to several specific areas:

  • services to the person;
  • early childhood education;
  • adult education.

Each student, beyond the specific field that he chooses to deepen, will have the opportunity to acquire in curricular form the ECTS that constitute the specific path for educators of educational services for children required by Legislative Decree 65 of 13 April 2017.

The programme includes workshop training activities both to promote design and operational skills in the educational field and to acquire language and computer skills.

To obtain the undergraduate degree, 180 university credits (ECTS) are required, which are acquired to the extent of about 60 each year with evaluation tests both for the courses and for other supplementary forms of teaching. Each exam is awarded a certain number of ECTS, the same for all students and a grade (expressed in thirtieths) that varies according to the level of preparation. The final exam is expressed in one hundred and tenths.

Ministerial Decree 378/2018 provides that the educator of educational services for children must have a degree relating to class L-19 Sciences of Education and Training Processes with a undergraduate programme that meets the minimum requirements of at least 55 ECTS obtained with training activities (courses, workshops, internship) related to certain subject areas and with specific content related to childhood issues (0-3 years). The study plan of the degree programme in Education and Training Sciences of our Faculty will allow each student to acquire, over the undergraduate programme, the 55 ECTS provided for by ministerial provisions, beyond the specific declination that he/she intends to give to his/her study plan, provided that he/she complies with certain indications relating to the choice of elective courses. The forthcoming Faculty Guide will provide all the necessary information in this regard.
