LM-19 (Information and publishing systems) - LM-59 (Advertising and communication for the public and private sectors)

As part of the elective (elective) training activities, which students must indicate when submitting their study plan, some seminars are recommended.

The seminars are held by professionals and offer specific skills in the different areas of media communication.

Attendance at the seminars is mandatory. Given the practical and applicative nature of the seminars, not all of them provide alternative paths to classroom presence. In case of absence, even justified (for internship activities or participation in mobility projects abroad recognized by the University), students are requested to contact the full professors before the start of the course.

Unless otherwise indicated, given by the lecturer in charge of the seminar, the approval of the seminar is subject to: the attendance of at least 75% of the lecture hours; the quality of the presence in the classroom; the performance of the tasks and projects assigned by the teacher; the passing of any tests that the course holder deems essential to administer.

The seminars are recorded by a commission chaired by the coordinators of the Study Programme 3 times during the year starting from the June-July session and with the following schedule:

I Registration: Summer Session
Registration II: Autumn Session
III Registration: Extraordinary Session

The registration of the seminars is carried out on the basis of the indications provided by the seminar owners at the end of the seminars.

The seminars of

  • Audience Intelligence and audience development,
  • Digital methods for analysis,
  • Pitching and public speaking
  • Self Branding & Job Positioning

are recorded in the exam sessions, according to the procedures that will be communicated by the holders of the same

Students are invited to register for the exam session of the seminar(s) attended; Registration is done on a deferred basis. The presence of the student in the classroom is not required.

Please note that deferred registration requires the student's acceptance of the judgment. You will be automatically notified of your registration by sending an email message that contains the request to accept the approval or non-approval of the seminar.

To check the update of their personal position on the online transcript, students are invited to wait for the closing of each session (about 3 weeks from the date of the exam).

During the verbalization, priority will be given to graduating students.

Students who are unable to participate in the seminars for curricular reasons (semester abroad, curricular internship, etc.) can earn the corresponding training credits by collaborating on the communication platforms of the Degree Programme. Substitution is possible for a maximum of 2 ECTS, equivalent to 1 seminar. How to collaborate on the platforms is explained in https://cimoinfo.com/  (Write for us section).
