Graduates can perform the following professional roles and related functions in the indicated employment areas:

Chartered Accountant

Professional registered in section A of the Register of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts (acquires the title after obtaining the master's degree, after internship and passing the State exam required by law).

Functions:

  • provides advanced consultancy in the field of design of corporate information systems;
  • keeps company accounts on behalf of private clients;
  • carries out advanced economic and financial evaluations in the context of extraordinary transactions of varying complexity;
  • supervises the accounts and financial statements of private and public companies, as well as company performance, as a member of the Board of Statutory Auditors;
  • provides tax advice to entities, businesses and individuals, as well as commercial and bankruptcy advice to companies and entities;
  • may be a trustee, a judicial commissioner and a liquidator;
  • provides comprehensive financial advice to companies and entrepreneurs.

Business and Business Consultant and Business Control Professional

Functions:

  • on the basis of functions and skills shared with the Chartered Accountant, they provide economic, financial and tax advice on transactions conducted on a national and international scale (mergers, acquisitions, disposals and other transactions relating to international contracts; design of advanced control models and tools suitable for companies operating on a global scale);
  • carry out economic and financial evaluations in the context of extraordinary transactions;
  • carry out economic and financial analyses to support transfer pricing choices;
  • deal with the verification of compliance (which also includes the verification of quality control procedures);
  • can take on an orientation to international consultancy when carrying out activities in support of clients operating on an international scale and/or in international consulting firms;
  • usually work in multifunctional teams together with other professionals.

  • strategic and management consulting firms;
  • Consulting firms specialized in tax and legal services, transaction services, consulting on corporate information systems.

Executive/Head of the administration, finance and control function of medium and large companies (but also of public and non-profit entities - accesses the position following a career path within the function, or after professional experience).

Functions:

  • designs and manages economic and financial measurement systems. In particular, he/she will be able to draw up the general ledger chart of accounts, carry out the surveys and draw up the financial statements;
  • will be able to set up the analytical accounting system and calculate the product cost;
  • knows how to determine the taxable income of the company;
  • plans, organises and manages internal auditing processes: verifies the effectiveness of internal administrative procedures, identifying areas of risk;
  • formulates protocols of conduct and company directives;
  • verifies the correct application of the directives, providing advice on their implementation;
  • supervises procedures relating to internal authorisations;
  • assesses the compliance of the procedures and formulates any corrective measures;
  • researches the most advantageous sources of financing and offers support for investment choices.
