Presentation of the degree programme

Take part in the online presentations of the degree programme to learn more about the characteristics of the study plan, discuss with the programme coordinators and discover career paths.

After obtaining the undergraduate degree, the faculty offers the possibility of accessing the graduate degree programme in Linguistic Sciences.

This degree represents the continuation and crowning, at a higher degree of critical consciousness and operational capacity, of the undegraduate porgramme and the respective curricula.

 

Learning objectives

The following skills, knowledge and abilities are specific educational objectives qualifying the Graduate Degree Programme in Linguistic Sciences (which belongs to class LM-38 Modern Languages for International Communication and Cooperation):

  • possession of a high level of competence in at least two of the languages of international communication, in the four skills (comprehension and oral production, comprehension and written production) applied to specialty languages;
  • in-depth knowledge of the intercultural issues related to the chosen languages;
  • acquisition of qualified skills in the disciplines most directly involved in the management and problems of the various specialisation profiles:
    Literature and Communication
    Languages for Specialist and Editorial Translation 
    Management and International Economic Relations
    Management, Entrepreneurship and Communication for Global Tourism
