An internship is a professional training internship that the student carries out at a company - or an association, or an institution - that has an agreement with Università Cattolica, engaging in activities related to his or her study plan. The internship therefore represents a very important opportunity for a student who wants to test his knowledge and skills in a real work situation.

• Duration: the duration of the internship cannot be less than 150 hours.
• Compulsory: the internship is included in the study plan of the third year of the degree programme. Activities equivalent to the internship can be a workshop organized by the university, or the recognition of extracurricular professional activities previously authorized by the didactic coordination. The curricular internship can also be replaced in the study plan by a foreign language programme of equal value.
• N° ECTS assigned to the internship: 6
• How to assign ECTS and indications for the final report:
  ECTS are credited during a special exam session. For recognition, the completion of the online evaluation questionnaire by the company tutor and the delivery of the attendance register are required.
• The internship request is made by contacting the university tutor directly.
