It lasts 4 years:

1. the first two years at the Piacenza campus;
2. the final two years at one of the prestigious international partner universities of the programme in France, Germany, Great Britain, United States, Mexico.

By participating in the Double Degree, you remain enrolled at Università Cattolica for the entire university programme and the fees must be paid only to this university. The costs of transfer, board and lodging abroad are the responsibility of the student. Merit scholarships are provided thanks to the contribution of the Lino Tollini Foundation, the Piacenza e Vigevano Foundation, the European Union and the MUR (i.e. Erasmus+ scholarship).

The programme is accredited by the International Foundation for Business Studies (FIBAA) – based in Bonn, Germany – which aims to certify the quality of university programmes from German-speaking countries.

The Faculty of Economics and Law of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore - Piacenza Campus is an official partner of the International non-profit association EFMD based in Brussels, Belgium.

The students who have chosen and completed the path, oriented towards an international future, talk about their experience in the programme, with particular attention to life on the foreign campus and the internship experience carried out in the host country, up to the conclusion on the Graduation Day.

The Double Degree in International Management project stems from cooperation within the IPBS (International Partnership of Business Schools).

The degree programme is offered by the Faculty of Economics and Law of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Piacenza, as part of the degree programme in Business Administration - International Management profile .

Students enrolling in the Double Degree project will divide their 4-year study experience between the Piacenza campus and that of the selected foreign partner, according to the following time frame:

• First year in Piacenza
• Second year in Piacenza + internship in Italy
• Third year abroad + internship abroad
• Fourth year abroad

In order to integrate traditional lessons with teaching methods that can provide students with an opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in line with the demands of the world of work, the study plan includes:

• two internship periods to be carried out at national and international companies or institutions in the form of company check-ups and project internships to encourage direct contact with the international context;
• international study groups to develop different learning processes and improve bilingualism and socio-cultural flexibility;
• the study of a second language in addition to English;
• exercises, discussions of business cases, simulations and meetings with important company experts. In addition, each student will have the opportunity to be supported by university tutors who aim to provide individual support students in the various stages of their university career.

The main objectives of the Double Degree are:

• facilitating the international mobility of students;
• develop teamwork skills;
• ensure a high level of knowledge of foreign languages;
• train a new generation of managers working in national and international companies.

At the end of the programme, the student is awarded 3 qualifications at the same time :

• From Università Cattolica:

1. Undergraduate degree in Business Administration (International Management profile)
2. First-level Specialising master programme in International Management (M-Mint)

• from the foreign partner
