Invernizzi Foundation Scholarships

For those enrolling in the first year in one of the undergraduate degree programmes of the Faculty of Agriculture, Food, and Environmental Sciences of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore – Piacenza/Cremona Campus, 10 scholarships are made available, in the amount of €. 4,000 each, renewable for two years.

The programme at a glance

The programme aims to provide students with basic knowledge (chemistry, physics, biology) and operational skills related to the food sector. In addition to the profile in "Food Science and Technology", the curriculum in "Viticulture and Oenology" is active (only in Piacenza).

Traditional lectures are an essential but not exclusive component of the programme: research projects and meetings with professionals in the sector complete the training proposal.

Graduates of this programme will be professionals with a complete view of the food production chain. For this reason, they will be able to manage different phases – from production to quality control – within food companies, analysis laboratories, certification bodies, protection consortia, wine-growing companies.
