Additional Educational Obligation (OFA)

In compliance with the provisions of the study course Regulations, Additional Educational Obligations (OFA) in the subjects indicated therein are assigned to students who, despite having obtained a score for enrolment purposes, have not answered correctly to at least 50% of the questions relating to each of the subjects administered in the admission tests.
The degree programme Councils organise, also by means of distance learning, intensive and remedial courses reserved for students who have been assigned OFAs, aimed at enabling them to make up for their initial knowledge gaps and to benefit from the lessons of the courses.
OFAs are deemed to have been met by successfully passing the test, the details of which are communicated after the beginning of the academic year.
In accordance with Article 6, paragraph 1 of Ministerial Decree no. 270/2004, OFAs must be completed within the first year of the programme. Students who have not made up their OFAs by the end of the first year of the programme as described earlier, may not sit the profit examinations scheduled for the second year.

Students are notified of any OFAs as soon as the merit rankings are published.
