Semester abroad

The semester abroad programmes are open to all Università Cattolica students and allow them to spend one semester of their academic career abroad, at a partner university. Exams taken abroad can be recognised as part of the UC study plan. Students are selected on the basis of academic merit and language skills. It is possible to join programs of different nature: UCSC Exchange, ISEP Exchange, Study Abroad

Language Courses

With the LaTE (Language Training Experience) program, it is possible to start throughout the academic year and improve one or more foreign languages. Knowledge of English and other languages is now essential to be able to apply for international programs and to travel. Depending on your needs, you can choose the language of study (English, French, Spanish, Russian, Chinese, German, Arabic), the destination, the type of course, the duration and the level.

An internship experience abroad during your university career is certainly an important advantage for entering the world of work. UC offers its students and recent graduates different types of paths:

Voluntary work

The International Volunteering program allows you to take part in cooperation, development and support projects within many local realities in South America, Africa and Asia, joining projects of Childcare & Orphanage Assistance, Community Development, Environmental Conservation, Health Education, Women's Development, Special Education, Teaching, Sustainable Agriculture, Wildlife Conservation, Youth Sports Coaching and others.
Scholarships are available to support activities carried out abroad and both students and recent graduates of Università Cattolica, from all faculties, are eligible to participate.

Summer Programmes

These programmes are designed for those who already have a good knowledge of the English language and want to spend a period of study abroad during the summer, from 2 weeks to 3 months, to take one or more exams, with the possibility of recognition of ECTS on return.

With the Summer Programs it is possible to spend a period of 2 to 8 weeks abroad during the summer, at one of our top ranking partner universities globally, and to select exams to be taken for which it will be possible to request the recognition of credits on return.
With the program of language courses abroad, it is possible to start throughout the academic year and improve one or more foreign languages.
