The programme at a glance

Sport as a training activity: a winning proposal

The education and training of the person also pass through movement and sports activities: students, through a dynamic and culturally rich path, will acquire both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. After a first year of common teaching, focused on basic pedagogical techniques and the study of the body and human movement, the student will be able to choose between two paths: scholastic-adaptive and sporting-managerial.

Teaching methodology

The study programme is divided into theoretical lessons and practical activities with compulsory attendance, carried out at the "Rino Fenaroli" Sports Center.

And then? A passion for sport becomes a job

Educational institutions, sports federations, local authorities and organizations that deal with sports activities constantly require competent figures for multiple roles: teachers of physical activity for adults and for the elderly, psycho-motor education consultants in primary and kindergartens, instructors in the field of fitness, movement educators.

Presentation

The interfaculty programme in Education and Medicine and Surgery (Rome campus of Università Cattolica) allows students to develop theoretical and practical knowledge and skills related to the education and training of the person, through movement and sports activities. The programme, dynamic and culturally rich, trains professionals who, thanks to the analysis of the person's movement needs in the different stages of life, are able to design, propose and manage education, training and post-rehabilitation recovery processes through movement. Open to different developments, the programme also prepares for professional activities of an entrepreneurial nature.
