Programme Structure

Programme Structure

The programme is divided into two curricular proposals, from which you can choose according to your aptitudes and professional interests:

  • School-Adaptive
  • Sports-management

The teaching of the programme is organized in theoretical lessons  and practical activities with compulsory attendance, carried out mainly at the "Rino Fenaroli" sports  center.

ECTS

To obtain the undergraduate degree, 180 university credits (ECTS) are required, which are acquired to the extent of about 60 each year with evaluation tests both for the courses and for other supplementary forms of teaching. Each exam is awarded a certain number of ECTS, the same for all students, and a grade (expressed in thirtieths) that varies according to the level of preparation. The final exam is expressed in one hundred and tenths.

Profiles

As part of the optional training activities, the Faculty has identified combinations of courses that allow the acquisition of skills related to the following skill and professional profiles: School-adaptive, Sports-management.

Università Cattolica offers students of Sport and Motor Sciences an opportunity to complete their  professional profile. In fact, students who obtain  a degree in Sport and Motor Sciences at Università Cattolica  and who intend to obtain a second degree in Primary Teacher Education at Università Cattolica, after passing the admission test, will be able to obtain  the recognition of 86 ECTS by enrolling directly in the third  year of the programme. This option completes the professional  opportunities of the graduate in Sport and Motor Sciences who intends to enter  the school. After the undegraduate degree, the graduate who wants to teach in secondary school will be able to attend  the graduate degree (two years) and then continue the programme,  to obtain the qualification. Graduates who wish to teach  in kindergarten  and primary school will be able to enrol in the third  year of the Primary Teacher Education programme and in any case graduate and qualify in three years.
