Prof. Sebastiano Grandi, with the help of students, former students and managers of large companies, talks about the graduate degree programme in Food Marketing

This programme is designed to train graduates who will be able to meet a wide range of professional needs in production and distribution companies operating in many different sectors. Since the Food Marketing and Sales Management programme focuses on FMCG markets, the contents of the courses are in line with the marketing and sales management problems of companies operating also in other non-food sectors of the economy.

From this point of view, the FMCG sector is in fact an advanced "school" market for Marketing and Sales Management problems, so much so that, on the one hand, it has historically always anticipated commercial and competitive phenomena and situations that have then affected almost all other markets, and, on the other hand, it has contributed to the training of those managerial skills that have increasingly developed in recent years also in other sectors (fashion, consumer electronics, automotive, energy, business-to-business, etc.). For these reasons, the graduates of the Food Marketing and Sales Management programme can find numerous professional opportunities in companies belonging to sectors/markets other than FMCG (electronics, services, clothing, cosmetics-perfumery, luxury fashion, automotive, etc.).

This is a graduate degree programme in Economics, activated in collaboration between the Faculty of Economics and Law and the Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences.
